Modular aluminum case engineered to size and military specifications

Aluminum cases can be easily customized. Virtually any type of modification is available such as adding cutouts, holes for cabling, and accessory brackets. Latches, handles, hinges, gaskets, strap loops, stay bolts, and locks may be installed, substituted, or removed. A variety of finishes and colors are also available. Rack mount cases can be manufactured specifically to meet your requirements for a modest, minimum order.

Fabricated Shipping Cases

Fabricated shipping cases are built to your exact specifications using only the highest quality materials. Walls are constructed from ABS panels laminated to plywood and riveted to tapered aluminum edging and steel corners.  Tongue and groove valance extrusions are precisely machined to insure a perfect closure. Lids are secured with heavy-duty, full-length piano hinges.

Construction Features:

• ABS panels laminated to top quality plywood (3/8” and 1/2” thickness are standard)

Foam Inserts and Custom Case Interiors

Ultimate protection of your equipment is our business. That's why we offer a variety of foam inserts to meet your cushioning requirements. Proper foam packaging surrounds and supports your sensitive items during transit and storage. Its design is critical in protecting against shock and vibration.

Whatever your packaging requirement, we offer a wide selection of foam material, density, color, and style. Our capabilities include design, layout, and manufacturing. Our foam specialists are on hand to help select the best foam choices for your application.

The case is filled with 1" or 2" layers of solid foam. The lid may be filled with a convoluted foam layer. The user is responsible for cutting foam cavities to fit equipment.	The case is filled with 1" or 2" layers of scored (cubed) foam. Cubed foam can be easily plucked out by hand to create cavities for equipment. It is not as durable as other options.	The case walls and lid are lined with a single 1" or 2" layer of foam.	Padded dividers contain several cavities to secure a variety of objects. Dividers are offered for a limited number of cases.	Some lids may be fitted with a pocket or pouch to store literature, casters, cables, and other accessories.	Working with one of our sales engineers, we will design a custom foam interior for your case based on your drawing of the foam or a drawing of your object(s). In some instances, we can send a sales engineer to your location to properly measure and fit a case for your project.

We stock polyethylene and polyurethane foam. Crosslink and anti-static foam are available upon request.

They are able to endure harsh environments and withstand the shock and vibration of shipment and deployment.

Custom Rotationally Molded Cases

Sierra Cases partners with CP Cases to offer custom rotationally molded cases. We can customize an existing case or start a fresh design. We work with your engineers through concept, prototyping, and production. Our solutions have ranged from simple case bodies for home dialysis equipment to complex cases designed to transport and deploy communication equipment. A variety of colors and accessories are available.

Rotationally Molded Services:

• Protective partitioning systems (drawers, dividers, trays, pouches, and shelves) built into the interior of the case and sized to the contents they'll protect
• When no standard case size is suitable, two cases are cut and welded into one to produce an exact size
• New sizes for a minimum order of only 150 cases
• Complete design of a rotationally molded product tailor made for OEM customers
