Rack Mount Clip Nuts and Screws

The 1SKB-AC1 is a package of 12 clip nuts and mating screws.  These are used in round-hole rails to secure rack equipment to rack frames.

Round-hole vertical rails were developed to avoid the problem of damaged threads.  These rails are punched with 0.28″ diameter, untapped holes. A clip nut – a square nut enclosed in a metal cage – fits inside the rail hole where it is secured with a 10/32 screw.
