The 3RR Removable Rack is SKB Corporation’s latest addition to their rugged, shock-isolated line of rack mount cases.
The 3RR shell is rotationally molded of LMDP Linear Medium Density Polyethylene plastic for strength and impact resistance. A new “positive lock” inner frame latch (patent pending) offers more shock and vibration isolation than the competition. It exceeds MIL-STD-810G tests.
A slide-out, removable rack allows unlimited access to electronic equipment during installation, integration and maintenance. The rack cage has two low-profile locking latches that secure the cage and eliminate movement during transport. The standard payload range is 40 to 150 lbs.; however, the 3RR can handle payloads up to 300 lbs. with additional shock isolators. The 3RR includes a 24” deep rack, a 2” deep front lid and a 5” deep rear lid.
Standard features include heavy-duty in-line wheels, molded-in ribs and lugs for stacking multiple cases. Also featured are: recessed black powder-coated stainless steel hardware, eight spring-loaded lift handles with comfort grip, automatic pressure relief valve, lid hangars and coupling straps. Integrated lid gaskets prevent moisture ingress.
The 3RR cases are available in seven rack heights: 3U, 4U, 5U, 7U, 9U, 11U and 14U; and three colors: black (standard), desert tan and olive drab green. Contact Sierra Cases for pricing and availability.
